About

My Bio

I was raised in a quiet suburb of Montreal, Quebec. My childhood was filled with walks in the mountain near my house and in the fields where I spent a lot of time daydreaming and inventing stories in my head. Every summer, my brother Sasha, my father, my mother and I would travel to fun destinations in the world and this is when I developed a love for art, culture, adventure, and people.

I was always a very sensitive child, aware of what others were feeling and thinking. This hypersensitivity combined with several health issues forged me into a strong intuitive woman who is very independent and self-confident. In Champlain College I explored the worlds of film and photography, and thought of becoming a film director but literature won in the end.

In 2001, I started a B.A in English literature and minor in Spanish and German at McGill University. I overworked myself the third year and ended up with a major burn-out, so I took six months off to travel to Mexico and the Bahamas, where I began to write my first spiritual novel Journey to the Heart. In 2005, I graduated from McGill and launched my private English teaching business because I craved to be apart from the herd. I wanted to have free time to write, travel, and do all my favorite sports. As Lao Tzu said, “When you love your work, you will never work a day in your life”.

After completing my Masters in English Renaissance literature at Concordia University in 2010, I journeyed to California to explore more seriously the world of film-making. I learned a lot during the many trips to Los Angeles and even launched my own film production company with two other artists. I co-wrote a female-driven Western film which is currently in development in Hollywood.

Back in Montreal, I wrote my next two novels New Dimensions of Being and Jaguar Dreams. My path crossed with Homebound Publications in winter 2012 and my writing career officially began!

Journey to the Heart won the Living Now Silver Book Award for Best Inspirational Fiction in 2014. Then Jaguar Dreams won Finalist Next Generation Indie Book Award for Best Inspirational Fiction in 2016. These awards brought a lot of joy to my heart as they showed me that others appreciated what I had to share.

Over the years my writings have appeared in numerous spiritual magazines, notably True Blue Spirit, Voice of the Angels, The Wayfarer, Happiness & Wellbeing Magazine, Paradigm Shift, and Spiritual Wisdom Magazine. Since two years, I write monthly articles for InnerSelf Magazine in the United States.

My life is a beautiful balance of creativity, health, magic, adventure, and exercise. I enjoy swimming, hiking, horse-back riding, snowboarding, running, and tennis. I practice Energy Medicine and Reiki, and I am training to become a Reiki, Tai Chi and Qi Gong Master. Currently I am writing my fourth non-fictional spiritual book.
